Hamersley Gorge is located in the north western part of Karijin National Park. It is a long way from the main part of the national park and access to this part of the park is free. There is a large swimming hole at Hamersley Gorge. The colours, textures and reflections of the rock make this a must see location. The walking track to the gorge is 400m long and quite steep. For the more adventurous you can clamber your way to the Spa Pool which is a small rock pool that has been carved out by the river over thousands of years.
