Blue Lake

Blue Lake swimming hole is a 50 minute drive from Melbourne CBD. It is located in an old quarry in Plenty Gorge Park adjacent to the Plenty River. The quarry has filled up with water from the rain. There is a vertical rock cliff face on one side and trees on the other. It’s a nice place to relax so bring the picnic rug.

Directions to Blue Lake Swimming Hole

Drive to the town of Plenty, Victoria.
*Head west along Memorial Drive
*Turn left onto Goldsworthy Lane and follow the signs to Yellow Gum Park.
*Take the walking path from the car park.
*It’s a short walk down to the gorge and swimming hole.
