Cataract Gorge

Cataract Gorge is a popular swimming location in Launceston. There is a natural gorge which you can swim in and also a free swimming pool. The Gorge has a restaurant, a cafe and a kiosk. There are also free hot showers, toilets and barbeques.

Note: There is free parking is located on the western side of the Gorge at the end of Cliff Grounds Road but only limited spaces. The eastern car park is a paid car park. (For free parking on the eastern side of the Gorge, you can simply park further up the road out the front of the houses.)
