Windin Falls is located in the Wooroonooran National Park and is known for its infinity pool at the top of the falls. The infinity pool is more spa sized than pool sized, but it is deep enough to hop in and cool off. Take care and don’t go anywhere near the waterfall or the water pressure might suck you over and that wont be a happy ending. This is definitely not a good place to swim after heavy rain or in the wet season. The hike to Windin Falls is 5.6km one way and in total it is a vertical decent of 195m. The walk to the falls is mostly shaded, you’ll be walking through dense rain forest and more open pine forest. There are no facilities at Windin Falls or the carpark. This is a wild hike and last few hundred metres of the hike down to the falls is very steep and slippery.
