Spring Creek Falls is located in the Mowbray Valley just a short drive from Port Douglas. It is a challenging 2.5km hike with no defined path to the falls so you will have to follow small dirt tracks, cross the stream at certain points and hop over rocks to get there. This waterfall has a large swimming hole at the base of the falls. The falls are very impressive and the rush of the water creates a wind through the valley. The track starts from Grays Creek Terrace and it is not sign posted. You will see a small 4wd track leading off about 450m before the end of Grays Creek Terrace. Walk along this 4wd track until the end, and then follow the main channel of the creek upstream. You may have to cross the creek multiple times until you reach the falls.
