Gwongoorool Pool

Gwongoorool Pool is located in the Lamington National Park Binna Burra section. It is a 2.1km hike (one way) through rainforest down into a valley. At the end of the hike you will come across a beautiful large swimming hole on the Coomera River with the clearest water you will ever see. If you walk upstream from the pool you will find another swimming hole with a log to jump off (at the time of writing).

Directions

Drive to Binna Burra in NSW.
*Park at the Visitor Information Centre.
*Take the Illinbah Track (the track starts about 100m north of the Visitor Centre past the toilet block).
*Follow the signs down to Gwongoorool Pool.
