Freshwater Creek Swimming Hole is located in Ryan Meare Park in the suburb of Freshwater, Cairns. It is a nice large pool with a sandy bottom on a sharp bend along Freshwater Creek. Please note this small stream connects to the Barron River which is home to crocodiles and they can move through the area, mostly during the wet season. Please read all signs and ask for local advice if you’re not sure.
