Emmagen Creek

Emmagen Creek has a really nice swimming hole not far from Cape Tribulation in the Daintree Rainforest. It is located just upstream from the Emmagen Creek Crossing. The swimming hole is far enough up the creek to be croc free. (Just make sure you don’t swim downstream from the crossing). If you are heading up the Bloomfield Track then this is a must stop swimming hole. There is a path leading up to the pools from the southern side of the creek crossing. You can access this swimming hole by 2WD but to go any further along the Bloomfield Track a 4WD is required.

Directions

From Cape Tribulation.
*Head north along Cape Tribulation Road for 1.4km.
*Keep heading straight along Rykers Road and follow for 2.1km.
*Keep heading straight along Bloomfield Road for 3.4km.
*Park just before the creek crossing and walk upstream along a track for 0.8km.
