Babinda Boulders

Babinda Boulders Main Pool is a popular swimming hole and picnic area just off the highway near the town of Babinda. This is a very scenic swimming hole with beautiful clear water and smooth boulders. There is a short walk through the rain forest to two lookouts where you can view Devil’s Pool and Boulder’s Gorge.

Please Note: Swimming is only permitted in the designated swimming areas. DO NOT attempt to swim in the restricted areas as you are risking your life – many people have died swimming in the restricted areas due to currents which hold you down (17 people have died swimming in the restricted areas since 1959).
