Edith Falls is a very large swimming hole in the Nitmiluk National Park. It is well worth the stop if you are heading from Katherine to Darwin. The waterhole is cleared for crocodiles after the wet season. The facilities are excellent. There is a large grassy area, shady trees, toilets, BBQ’s, a general store and a campground. Be sure to check out the Leliyn Trail as it leads to another swimming hole called the ((Upper Pool, Nitmiluk National Park, NT|Upper Pool ))and more waterfalls upstream.

From Katherine.
*Take the Stuart Highway north towards Darwin 42km.
*Turn right at Edith Falls Road 19km.
*Follow the road to the falls and park in the car park.
*Walk down the path to the falls and swimming hole.
