Edith Falls Upper Pool

The Upper Pool is located just upstream from Edith Falls and is well worth a visit. This is an amazing swimming location with swimming holes so deep you can barely reach the bottom and water so clean you can drink it straight from the stream. There is a waterfall above the main pool and also another small waterfall in the adjacent pool with a rock hole and a small underwater passage. If you take some swimming goggles you can jump into the rock hole and swim underwater to get back into the main pool. It’s pretty amazing and also bloody dangerous, so don’t do it unless you are a good swimmer!
