Jim Jim Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in the Kakadu National Park. It’s a fairly remote location and you will need a 4WD/SUV for the last part of the track. As long as you have some clearance and don’t mind a few small creek crossings, you should be fine. There is a big swimming hole at the base of the falls. There are no crocodiles here, as big rocks block the water hole from the river. The hike to the falls is simply up the Jim Jim Creek from the car park. You’ll be hiking over rocks and boulders for about 1km to get to the base of the falls.
