Glen Helen Gorge

Glen Helen Gorge is a large swimming hole on the Finke River near Glen Helen Homestead. The swimming hole is situated between two steep red rocky outcrops. It is quite a scenic location. There is a paid campsite near the homestead but you can visit the gorge for free if you are just passing through.

*At roundabout take exit 2 onto Larapinta Drive 30m
*At roundabout continue straight onto Larapinta Drive 45km
*Turn right onto Namatjira Drive 85km
*Turn left onto unnamed road 800m
