Blicks River

There are some swimming holes along the Blicks River by the Dundurrabin bridge on Armidale Road. To get to them find the E.J Fahrey Park and turn down a little track. Park and walk down the bank towards the river in a north westerly direction. The path is a little overgrown and you may have to navigate some reeds at the bottom but once you get to the river there are a series of rock pools. A great place to swim and you probably wont see anyone at all. There are no facilities in the park. There are rumors of a waterfall nearby, Dundurrabin Falls. We’re no sure of the location though. Please let us know the location of the falls in the comments below if you can find them!

Directions

From Dorrigo.
*Head north west out of town along Tyringham Road for 26km
*At the end of the road turn right onto Armidale Road for 3.6km.
*Turn right into E. J. Fahrey Park.
*Park at the end of the track and walk the path to the river in a north west direction.
