The Bangalow Weir is a historic swimming hole on the Byron Creek. It was built as a swimming pool in 1924. The weir has since broken down over the years. It is currently being restored using rocks to reinforce the side walls and to create rock pools.

*Park by the Historic Society.
*You will see a foot bridge in the park.

i used to swim there as a child many years ago and love the spot i mean back in the 1980s it was the the best spot to cool off those days and now in my 50s i was just thinking back to those days and what the area looked like today .
